POSITION SUMMARY:
- Security of customers, staff and property of all premises under Avisena
- Ensuring Security services conform to all statutory requirements
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The job’s primary responsibility is to meet or excel KPI deliverables and the successful execution of security services.
- Provide strong leadership and foster development and mentoring for all staff and integrates department services with the hospital's primary functions.
- To achieve high level of customer satisfaction in a hospital environment. Develops a system to attain customer’s feedback, analyses and use the statistics to further improve services.
- Recommends and monitors quality control programs and systems; instruction for staff in proper techniques, procedures, personal hygiene, etc.
- Provides departmental leadership that fosters an atmosphere that allows the hospital to fulfil its mission and meet or exceed its goals.
- Oversees the entire security service operations to ensure uniform quality and services provided.
- Assigns and coordinates work of outsource security vendor and emmployees to promote efficiency of operations.
- Trains workers in performance of duties. Participates in department orientation and on-the-job training for outsource security vendor and employees.
- To develop safety and crime prevention initiatives, select and monitor the effectiveness of alarm, lighting and camera systems.
- Review logs and reports of incidents that occur on the grounds of the hospital to analyse if failures in existing security policies or facilities contributed to the event.
- To investigate all crime incidents and follow through actions and report(s) to Police authorities.
- To plan and execute drills and exercises under direct responsibility of Security Department.
- To cooperate with other hospital wide exercises including but not limited to: Hospital Disaster Management Plan.
- To take reasonable care at workplace for the safety of oneself, others and to comply with any instruction as required. Report all incidents to the superior and complete the Incident Report Form for each incident.
- To perform other related duties as assigned by the immediate superior or the Management.
