JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel Management, Tourism or Business Studies.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on Hotel revenue management experience.
  • A strong command of both written and spoken English is required.
  • Ability to work under own initiative in a highly pressured environment.
  • Highly computer literate with a high level command of Excel.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop revenue management processes to maximize Hotel revenue and drive market share.
  • Monitor, develop and adjust accurate forecast, trend analysis, pricing strategies and sales strategies in order to maximize the revenue of the hotel.
  • Analyse overall monthly hotel performance and provide summary report with recommendations to improve long term strategies.
  • Ensure all daily, weekly and monthly revenue management reports are up to date and are completed in accordance with standardized company procedures.
  • Periodically perform competitive benchmark studies to evaluate the prices in the market to ensure increased reservations and more revenue.
  • Implement revenue management operations, procedures and best practices.
  • Manage and maintain group and transient inventory controls.
  • Analyse the current revenue generation trends of the hotel in order to identify critical areas for revenue enhancement.
  • Ensure close out and free sale charts are up to date in order to gain maximum effect.
  • Ensure property details are consistently maintained across all platforms.
  • Work closely with digital marketing team to enhance direct booking flow.
  • Provide the Sales & Marketing team with internal and external marketing intelligence to support informed decisions resulting in an increase in the hotel’s overall revenues and maximize profitability.
  • Oversee, support and ensure smooth operation of Reservations Department.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned and directed by the Management from time to time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From RM6,000.00 per month
