Cameron Bharat Plantation Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a dedicated Procurement Executive to manage and optimize our purchasing activities. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing quality materials, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring timely procurement to support business operations.

Job Scope:

  • Supplier Sourcing: Identify and evaluate suppliers to ensure quality, price, and timely delivery. Build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
  • Order Management: Process purchase orders, monitor order status, and ensure all deliveries meet company standards and deadlines.
  • Cost Optimization: Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings without compromising quality.
  • Inventory Management: Collaborate with the inventory team to monitor stock levels and maintain optimal inventory to prevent shortages or overstocking.
  • Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, pricing changes, and new suppliers to enhance procurement strategies.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier evaluations. Generate regular reports on purchasing activities and budget performance.
  • Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of procurement systems and inventory management tools.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to evaluate suppliers, analyze costs, and make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Negotiation Skills: Effective negotiation skills to secure favorable terms and prices with suppliers.

Personal Skills:

  • Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective coordination with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Organized & Detail-Oriented: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and ensure accuracy in purchasing records.
  • Problem-Solving Mindset: Proactive in addressing supply issues and finding solutions to minimize delays.
  • Team Player: Works collaboratively with other departments to align purchasing activities with business needs.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From RM2,000.00 per month
