The Product & Strategy Manager in a mobile phone company in Malaysia plays a crucial role in developing and implementing product strategies to drive business growth.
Key responsibilities include:
Product Strategy: Defining the overall product strategy, including product positioning, target market identification, pricing strategy, and product lifecycle management.
Market Research and Analysis: Conducting market research to identify customer preferences, market trends, and competitive landscape. Using these insights to inform product strategy and decision-making.
Competitive Analysis: Monitoring and analyzing competitor activities, strategies, and product offerings to identify competitive advantages or vulnerabilities.
Revenue and Profitability: Setting revenue and profitability targets for the mobile phone products and ensuring their achievement through effective product strategies.
Pricing Strategy: Developing pricing strategies for mobile phone products to ensure competitiveness, profitability, and customer value.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborating with marketing, sales, and operations teams to ensure alignment and successful execution of product strategies.
Business Performance Analysis: Monitoring and analyzing the performance of mobile phone products in the market, including sales trends, customer feedback, and market share.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in product management or strategy roles, preferably in the mobile phone industry.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Knowledge of market research and competitive analysis techniques.
- Ability to translate market insights into actionable product strategies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams.
- Result-oriented mindset and a drive for achieving revenue and profitability goals.
- Familiarity with the local Malaysian market and consumer preferences in the mobile phone industry.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
