Responsibilities :

  • Plan and implement best management practice for Land Disturbing Pollution Prevention Mitigation Measures (LD-P2M2), site safety and waste management plan.
  • Ensure all requirements of EIA, EMP and related environmental regulation are being implemented on site and compliance to the legal and other requirements.
  • Monitor and conduct inspection on all environmental components installed to be fully functioning and properly maintained.
  • Collect all environmental data and information on site and ensure good record keeping are carried out as scheduled.
  • Prepare daily, monthly and quarterly related Environmental Management Report (EMR) for internal and external stakeholders, such as DOE for regulation compliance.
  • Communicate regularly with management and other stakeholders, providing environmental performance and compliance updates.
  • Assist in gathering and prepare monthly and quarterly site development reports or when necessary.
  • Assist in preparing related paperwork as per instructed by superior.
  • Liaise with internal departments and external agencies such as Government Agencies, Consultants and other authorities for related compliance and regulation matters.
  • Perform any task as assigned by superior.

Requirements :

  • Candidate must possess at least Diploma in Environmental Science/Forestry/Agriculture or related discipline from recognized university/college with minimum CGPA 3.0.
  • Certified either in:

- Certified Erosion, Sediment and Storm Water Inspector (CESSWI) or

- Certified Inspector Sediment and Erosion Control (MY-CISEC) or

- Certified Professional for Environmental Officer in EIA (CePEOEIA)

  • Able to work in plantation environment.
  • Good command of written and spoken in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Initiative and able to work independently with a high degree of commitment.
