Job Description
- To manage and oversee the credit control function by managing proper debt collection and deposit for reporting.
- To ensure timely collection of rental from tenants and follow up regularly on overdue account.
- To ensure that all billings to tenants and documentation are done on a timely and accurate manner.
- To perform the financial control on the outstanding rentals ensuring proactive identification and resolution of risks of bad debt.
- To ensure consistent and timely updates of ageing report and reconciliation report for receivables balances.
- To continuously monitor and review current credit control policy and procedures including system processes and where necessary make recommendation for improvement.
- To manage tenants relationship and constructively resolving issues as raised by debtors.
- To ensure effectively handling of refund of tenant deposit, issuance of reminder letter, check and verify of all tenant outstanding statement for any litigation cases.
- To liaise and follow up closely with appointed solicitors on litigation cases such as issuance of NOD, WOD, Summons, Auction, etc
Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or equivalent qualifications.
- A minimum of 5 years of working experience in Credit Control is required for this position, preferably from a shopping mall industry.
- Possess sound knowledge of credit control procedures. Knowledge of Accounts Receivable, financial and accounting procedures would be an added advantage
- A team player who can work independently with proactive management skills.
- Self motivated, charismatic, initiative, pleasant personality, quick learner with good communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- Possess strong leadership qualities and able to provide direction and guidance for subordinates in peforming their roles.
- Computer literate and fanmiliar with Microsoft Office Applications.
- Ability to deliver under pressure and tight deadlines.
