Technician

1. Perform general repair and maintenance, fabricate, installation, operation and preventive maintenance duties in regard to:-

Electrical, mechanical, air-conditioning, fire protection, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, painting, kitchen equipment, sound and MATV systems, sewage plant, gas operated equipment and associated systems.

2. Ensure all works carried out should be in schedule, and should fully comply with local safety rules and regulations.

3. Record all utilities and machines reading and etc. per operating log sheets provided.

4. Perform general routine inspection of company’s vital operating machines, equipments and public lightings as to ensure smooth operating per schedule.

5. Maintain workshop tools, equipment and all related engineering areas in clean and neat condition at all times.

6. Carry out shift duties, split duties or when called upon to perform of different trades when the person falls sick or is absent from duty as called upon to do so from time to time as directed by superior

7. Responsible for the maintenance of emergency generator, batteries as well as cleanliness of the machine and its area.

8. Responsible for the replacement of burn-out bulbs, florescent tubes and other electrical devices.

9. Set-up audio visual equipment such as overhead projectors, slides and other related equipment when required.

10. Responds to all Fire Alarms and performs duties of fire crew as required.

11. To perform any other duties set by the hotel policy management or his direct superiors and not included in the above job description.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM1,500.00 - RM1,900.00 per month
