Objective:
1. Ensure projects remain within budget
2. Provide cost and material estimates
3. Draw up projected budgets
4. Work alongside a team, noting any design changes and their effect on cost
5. Manage the costs related to projects, from initial projections to the final figures
6. Help get good value for money across projects, whilst still meeting the required quality and regulations
7. Monitor ongoing renovation projects and ensure they are completed within the projected budget and schedule
Job Description:
1. Managing the cost aspects of our interior design and build projects.
2. Providing accurate and timely cost estimates, budgeting, and cost control to ensure that projects are delivered within budget and to the required quality standards.
Responsibilities:
Cost Estimating and Budgeting:
Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for interior design and build projects
Identify and quantify potential risks and opportunities for cost savings
Develop and maintain project budgets and financial reports
Cost Control:
Monitor and control project expenditure to ensure that it remains within budget
Identify and address any potential cost overruns or deviations from budget
Negotiate with contractors and suppliers to achieve cost savings
Cost Management:
Develop and implement cost management plans for projects
Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements
Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders
Project Management:
Collaborate with project managers to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
Provide cost advice and support to project managers as needed
Develop and maintain project schedules and timelines
Communication:
Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure that their needs are met
Provide regular project updates and progress reports to clients
Develop and maintain effective relationships with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders
Risk Management:
Identify potential risks and opportunities for cost savings
Develop and implement risk management plans for projects
Monitor and report on project risks and opportunities
Perform other tasks as needed or assigned by superior
Requirement:
Bachelor's diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying
1 year experience in renovation field will be in advantage
Knowledge of Renovation & Construction.
Excellent negotiating and interpersonal skills.
Ability to organize, plan, and strategize.
Able to travel
