Responsibilities:
- Assist Monitor stock levels and identify purchasing needs
- Assist Research potential vendors
- Assist Track orders and ensure timely delivery
- Assist Update internal databases with order details (dates, vendors, quantities, discounts)
- Assist Conduct market research to identify pricing trends
- Assist Evaluate offers from vendors and negotiate better prices
- Assist Prepare cost analyses
- Assist Maintain updated records of invoices and contracts
- Assist Follow up with suppliers, as needed, to confirm or change orders
- Assist Liaise with warehouse staff to ensure all products arrive in good condition
- Assist in admin task such as filing and others ad hoc job given by the superior.
Requirements and skills
- Diploma in Logistics, Business Administration or relevant field
- Work experience as a Purchasing Assistant, Purchasing Officer or similar role. Fresh graduate/ Internship are welcome to apply.
- Good understanding of supply chain procedures
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
- Knowledge of market research
- Solid organizational skills
