JOB DESCRIPTION
This role involves developing and implementing financial policies and strategies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing strategic recommendations to the management team to ensure long-term financial stability and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Financial Planning and Analysis:
- Develop and manage annual budgets and forecasts.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
2) Financial Reporting:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Present financial reports to the management team and stakeholders.
3) Budget Management:
- Monitor and control company expenditures to ensure alignment with budgetary constraints.
- Identify areas of overspending and propose corrective actions.
- Assist department heads in understanding and managing their budgets.
4) Cash Flow Management:
- Monitor cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs.
- Implement strategies to optimize cash flow and working capital.
- Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions.
5) Cost Control:
- Implement cost control measures to enhance profitability.
- Review and approve expense reports, purchase orders, and vendor payments.
- Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure favorable terms.
6) Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations.
- Oversee internal and external audits.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks to the organization.

7) Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor the finance team.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure alignment with financial goals.
8) Strategic Initiatives:
- Participate in strategic planning and business development initiatives.
- Provide financial modeling and analysis for new projects and investments.
- Support mergers and acquisitions, if applicable.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
