JOB DESCRIPTION

This role involves developing and implementing financial policies and strategies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing strategic recommendations to the management team to ensure long-term financial stability and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Financial Planning and Analysis:

  • Develop and manage annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.

2) Financial Reporting:

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Present financial reports to the management team and stakeholders.

3) Budget Management:

  • Monitor and control company expenditures to ensure alignment with budgetary constraints.
  • Identify areas of overspending and propose corrective actions.
  • Assist department heads in understanding and managing their budgets.

4) Cash Flow Management:

  • Monitor cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs.
  • Implement strategies to optimize cash flow and working capital.
  • Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions.

5) Cost Control:

  • Implement cost control measures to enhance profitability.
  • Review and approve expense reports, purchase orders, and vendor payments.
  • Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure favorable terms.

6) Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations.
  • Oversee internal and external audits.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks to the organization.
  • To ensure stock take by quarterly and yearly

7) Team Leadership:

  • Lead and mentor the finance team.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure alignment with financial goals.

8) Strategic Initiatives:

  • Participate in strategic planning and business development initiatives.
  • Provide financial modeling and analysis for new projects and investments.
  • Support mergers and acquisitions, if applicable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
