  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Physiotherapy Lecturer to join our academic team. This role involves delivering high-quality education in physiotherapy, mentoring students, and contributing to the ongoing development of our physiotherapy curriculum. The successful candidate will possess a solid academic background in physiotherapy and practical experience, enabling them to connect theory with hands-on application.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching & Curriculum Development:
  • Deliver lectures, seminars, and practical sessions on various physiotherapy topics, including anatomy, biomechanics, and rehabilitation techniques.
  • Develop and update course materials to reflect current industry standards, research advancements, and best practices in physiotherapy.
  • Student Mentorship & Support:
  • Supervise and mentor students in practical lab settings and clinical placements.
  • Provide academic guidance and support to students, helping them with assignments, research projects, and career planning in physiotherapy.
  • Research & Academic Contributions:
  • Engage in research projects within the physiotherapy field, and encourage student participation in research initiatives.
  • Publish research findings in reputable journals and present at conferences to contribute to the field’s academic knowledge base.
  • Clinical Collaboration & Partnerships:
  • Collaborate with clinical partners to coordinate student placements and facilitate real-world learning experiences.
  • Stay connected with industry developments by maintaining relationships with local hospitals, clinics, and professional bodies.
  • Administrative & Committee Work:
  • Participate in faculty meetings, curriculum committees, and quality assurance initiatives.
  • Assist with student recruitment, admissions processes, and orientation for new students.

Requirements:

  • PhD in Physiotherapy or a related field.
  • Professional certification or licensure in physiotherapy.
  • Proven experience in physiotherapy practice, with a minimum of 3 years in clinical or academic settings.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective teaching and student support.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and keeping current with physiotherapy advancements.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in curriculum development and academic program enhancement.
  • Proficiency with e-learning platforms and digital tools for online teaching.
  • Prior involvement in physiotherapy research and knowledge dissemination through publications.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM9,000.00 per month
