Job Description
- To implement all policies, activities, procedures as relevant and required by the property development system.
- To coordinate and check in costing in the feasibility studies the preparation of the preliminary cost estimate.
- To liaise with consultants and spearhead the whole process of tendering exercise involving of vetting through documentation invitation of tenders, closing of tenders including the evaluation of tenders and preparation of recommendation for award.
- To evaluate the suitability of a particular Form of Contract and specific conditions of tendering for incorporation in the tender document.
- To be actively involved in the cost control of projects adopting value engineering for alternatives by liaising with relevant departments and consultants include ensuring submission of periodic financial statements, checking of variation claims and final accounts.
- To prepare project budgetary control and monthly financial statement.
- Contract administration includes reporting on all contractual and financial matters encountered on all project and attending client consultants/project meetings when necessary.
- To monitor and timely process of both consultants and contractors’ progress payment with accuracy.
- To evaluate and compile contractors /consultant’s performance evaluation form for submission to management.
- To scrutinize rationalization of rates and monitoring of contract documentation.
- To control and evaluation of variation orders/recommendation for approval.
- To process consultants/contractor’s claims and any claims pertaining to project matters.
- Pre-qualification of contractors and consultants.
- Prepare project performance and monitoring on weekly project valuation.
- Compiling and scanning of Sales & Purchase drawings, specifications and brochure for new and on-going projects.
- Compiling, evaluation and updating of cost analysis and cost plan.
- To prepare Letter of Award to contractors and Letter of Appointment to consultants.
- To attend all project meetings and site meetings, if necessary.
- Any other duty & responsibility which the company may assign from time to time.
Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Master's Degree, Quantity Survey, Property Development/Real Estate Management or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position - preferably in quantity surveying firm.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
