Senior Executive, Management Reporting

Reports To

Financial Reporting Management and Statutory Reporting - Subsidiaries

Role Purpose

Preparation of subsidiaries statutory & regulatory reports in a timely and accurate manner in accordance with statutory requirement on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis or as otherwise required.

Key Accountability

  • Prepare dashboard, BOD and Chairman Slides and also involved in Joint Business Reporting . This includes liaising with Other airlines personnel to get more info.
  • Ensure subsidiaries accounting policies and practices are in compliance with statutory guidelines, IFRS, Company's Act.
  • Supervise and support staff within the team including guidance for problem solving and coaching.
  • Prepare variance analysis for management and financial reporting, assess reasonableness, enquire & obtain explanation for significant & unusual variances from respective accounting sections/ Divisions.
  • Coordinate internal requirements to support year end external audit process including development of audit schedules and replies to audit and internal control findings for Subsidiaries.

Qualifications & Working Experience

  • Degree in Accounting/ Finance with 4-5 years experience in Accounting and/ or Finance.
  • Professional qualification (ACCA, ICAEW, CPA, MIA, etc.).

Skills & Knowledge

  • Good communication skills.
  • Financial Reporting Standards (FRS), International Accounting Standards (IAS) and relevant local accounting standards.
  • Good knowledge of Word processing, spreadsheet and presentation tools (Word / Excel / Power point).
  • Ability to coach and guide younger team members.
