- To assist and report Project Director / Project Manager in day-to-day project planning & implementation and all technical aspect
- Attend site meeting and inspection, report regularly on progress and monitor schedule.
- Assist in the monitoring of work progress and quality controls to comply with the contract, legal and other requirements.
- To study drawings, specification compliance with design requirements and site conditions to understand project requirement.
- Ensure work is done in accordance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Ensure compliance with legislated workplace health and safety requirements.
- Co-ordinate with main contractor and sub-contractors to ensure project delivery in-line with work schedule. Liaise and attend site meeting with consultant team and subcontractors.
- To prepare material requisition form for construction materials, to monitor machinery, wastage of construction materials by subcontractors.
- Monitor work progress to ensure delivery in-line with work schedule, adjust workflows as necessary to achieve or better completion date.
- Manage delivery of materials in-line with work schedule and progress on site.
- Knowledge of the application of corrective actions to reconcile nonconforming conditions.
- Must be willing to work long hours and weekends when necessary to support launch and critical project timelines.
- May represent the project during quality assurance audits conducted by the consultants and regulatory agencies.
- Identifies quality problems, initiates documented action and verifies implementation of solutions.
REQUIREMENTS :
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Degree, Professional Degree in Engineering (Civil) Others or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of M&E working experience in building construction.
- Capability to co-ordinate M&E works effectively with Sub-Contractors, Consultant and Client.
- Have the ability to manage and resolve on-site technical issues.
- Must have initiative and able to work independently.
- To work independently with integrity and commitment to assigned duties, pleasant, independent personality, fit and possess good health for work.
- Having good self- discipline, able to work under pressure, fit and possess good health for work.
- Required skill(s): MS Office, MS Project, AutoCad.
- Proficient in verbal and written communication – Bahasa Malaysia and English.
