Senior Penetration Tester
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead and manage a team of penetration testers in performing security assessments, including vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits.
· Design, develop, and execute advanced penetration testing scenarios to identify vulnerabilities and security weaknesses in client systems and applications.
· Analyze and interpret security assessment results, providing actionable recommendations and detailed reports to clients.
· Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity threats, tools, and techniques to ensure effective testing methodologies.
· Collaborate with clients to understand their security requirements and tailor assessments accordingly.
· Provide mentorship and training to junior team members, enhancing their skills and knowledge.
· Develop and maintain relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and trust.
· Contribute to the development and improvement of internal processes, tools, and methodologies.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
· Proven experience as a penetration tester, with a strong track record of leading security assessments and managing teams.
· High-level certification(s) such as OSCP (Offensive Security Certified Professional), OSCE (Offensive Security Certified Expert), or equivalent advanced certification is required.
· Extensive experience with a variety of penetration testing tools and techniques.
· Strong knowledge of network, web application, and mobile application security.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and critically.
· Effective communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
· Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
· Experience with regulatory compliance and industry standards such as PCI-DSS, HIPAA, or GDPR.
· Familiarity with scripting and programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Bash.
· Experience with threat modelling and risk assessment methodologies.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to RM13,000.00 per month
