ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Social Media Strategy Development
· Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand awareness, engagement, and conversions.
· Conduct market research to identify current trends and audience preferences.
2. Content Creation and Curation:
· Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video, written, and audio).
· Design and implement a content editorial calendar to manage content and plan specific, timely marketing campaigns.
3. Monthly Social Media Marketing Planning:
· Develop a monthly social media marketing plan outlining key objectives, strategies, and tactics for all social media platforms.
· Coordinate with the marketing team to ensure content is consistent with the company’s brand identity and marketing goals.
· Plan monthly social media posts, campaigns, and promotions.
· Analyze past performance to adjust future plans and optimize results.
4. Community Management:
· Monitor, listen, and respond to users in a “social” way while cultivating leads and sales.
· Conduct online advocacy and open a stream for cross-promotions.
5. Analytics and Reporting:
· Analyze key metrics and tweak strategy as needed.
· Compile reports for management showing results (ROI).
6. Collaboration and Coordination:
· Collaborate with other departments (customer relations, sales, etc.) to manage reputation, identify key players, and coordinate actions.
· Work with copywriters and designers to ensure content is informative and appealing.
7. Ad Campaigns:
· Plan and execute paid social media campaigns.
· Monitor and report on the performance of paid campaigns.
8. Stay Updated:
· Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools, and applications.
· Attend educational workshops and industry events; review professional publications; establish personal networks; participate in professional societies.
9. Crisis Management:
· Manage social media crises, responding quickly and effectively to any negative feedback or public relations issues.
10. Budget Management:
· Manage social media budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
JOB REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
· Diploma/Advanced/Higher Graduate Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, E-Commerce, or a related field.
· Proven work experience as a Social Media Marketing Executive or similar role.
· Excellent knowledge of TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, Thread, and other social media best practices.
· Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics.
· Experience with doing audience and buyer persona research.
· Familiarity with web design and publishing.
· Excellent multitasking skills.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
REMUNERATION & BENEFITS
· Salary: RM2,800 to RM3,500, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
· Statutory contributions: EPF, SOCSO, EIS, and other staff benefits.
WORKING HOUR:
Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 6:00 pm
