Job Overview:

Implement Human Resources programs by providing human resources services including end to end of mobility transactions for expatriate and local talent (inbound and outbound) from acquisition stage till onboarding, employment processing, compensations and benefit, \ records management, succession planning, employee relations and retention, industrial relations, and other related human resources transactions.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development of Global Mobility Policies (GMP) and procedures
  • Develop human resources solutions by collecting and analyzing information and recommending courses of action
  • Manages client expectations by communicating updates / status and issues; resolving concerns; analyzing time and cost issues; preparing reports
  • Enhance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishment
  • Protect organization’s value by keeping information confidential
  • Complies with federal, state and local legal requirements by studying existing, new and anticipated legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations
  • To provide HR consultation to managers and employees on HR issues regarding employee relations, staffing, compensation, HR policies and performance management
  • Disseminates information on employee benefits and arrangement to employees
  • Responsible for Human Resource activities to include employment, liaising with 3rd party vendor on application of work visa and tax, benefits, and training and development (if required)
  • Conduct new employee orientations to expats or inbound employees from other countries to KL (if required)
  • Provide advice, assistance and follow-up on company policies, procedures, and documentation
  • Coordinate the resolution of specific policy-related and procedural problems and inquiries
  • Recommend, develop and maintain human resource data bases, computer software systems, and manual filing systems
  • Supports the mobilization of new hires and the demobilization of resigned

Essential Qualifications and Education:

  • Degree / Masters in HR Management or related disciplines
  • 10 years related experience as HR Generalist

Preferred Qualifications and Education:

  • Experience supporting corporate office staffs a plus
  • Experience in Global Mobility
  • Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Ethical and good time management
  • Computer literate
  • Proficient with SAP and MS Office Suite
  • Comprehensive knowledge of employment law
  • Effective skills in the following areas are essential: organization, decision making, communication, influencing, negotiating and conflict management
