Role and Responsibilities
- Responsible for project planning and support to ensure the projects are completed in a timely fashion and within budget. Proper planning and designate project resources, prepare budgets, monitor progress, and keep stakeholders informed the entire way.
- Conduct site visit, on-site measurement and prepare feasibility study for management review and decision making.
- Draft layout plan and details drawing according to workshop standard requirements.
- Propose workshop process flow and capacity calculation to fully utilize the space available.
- Provide taking off, Bill of Quantities preparation, tendering, prepare preliminary costing for the renovation project and monitor cost control effectiveness.
- Preparation of project timeline and work breakdown structure to give teams an understanding of the project overview, keeping everyone informed and aligned at every stage of the project.
- Liaise with various suppliers and contractors to obtain quotations and negotiation for the best price.
- Project coordination, planning, execution, monitoring, and progress status follow up.
- Assist project manager in general administrative work and update in all daily office activities.
- Attend all project coordination, technical or consultant-client meetings and arrange inspection by the relevant authorities.
- Proactively manage projects to deliver them in-scope, on-time and on-budget while enforcing checkpoints and managing change-control.
- Perform any other tasks as and when required.
Qualifications and Education Requirements

- Candidate must possess at least Degree in Engineering or Project Management or equivalent.
- At least one years of experience in an automotive industry, repair centre, dealership, or similar facility is highly preferred.
Preferred skills
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to read, plan and draft 2D / 3D floor plan using AutoCAD, Sketch-up, or any other equivalent software.
- Ability to read, analyse and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management. Good teamwork and interpersonal skills.
- Strong initiative and continuous improvement mindset.
