RF Test Engineer

Job Description:

• Perform characterization of high-speed cable and system through the use of high-speed digital testing technique.
• Develop empirical and analytical electrical test procedures and specifications.
• Perform empirical and analytical testing based on available design input requirements.
• Generate First Article Inspection and qualification report for both internal and customer use.
• Develop and implement test fixtures.
• Provide technical advice to Sales and/or customers on signal integrity related matters.
• Be up-to-date with industry trend on high-speed interconnect solutions.
• Provide technical training on Signal Integrity testing and measurement procedures to fellow testing technician or others as required.
• Manage the Test Lab operation and maintenance.
• Manage and upkeep all laboratory equipment and inventory.
• Manage and upkeep test result documentation and database.
• To test and measure the RF cable assemblies using VNA and TDR.
• Assist engineering manager on technical support to production, troubleshooting, problem solving and improvement activity related to RF and high-speed cable assembly
• To characterize the RF cable assemblies result.
• To provide test data of the RF cable during NPI stage.
• To ensure the test machines operate
• Any other duties as and when assigned by the management.

Education Level:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical or Mechanical) or a related field.

Working Experience:

• 3+ years working experience or RF related industry experience.
• Experience correlating simulation results with lab measurements using oscilloscope, TDRs and VNAs is essential.
• Experience in Risk Analysis such as Design/Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis is desired.
• Experience in Design and Process validation is desired.
• Experience in project management is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
