We are the Industry Division of IJM Group, one of Malaysia’s leading conglomerates. We are now looking for an experienced QAQC Engineer to join our team!
- Establish and implement quality control procedures for various stages of construction, including earthworks, concrete pouring, steelworks, masonry, and finishing works
- Perform regular inspections of construction activities to ensure that they meet the quality requirements. This include checking materials, installation methods and workmanship.
- Responsible for the testing of materials such as arrange for concrete slump tests, compression tests, and steel tensile strength tests.
- Oversee critical construction activities such as the foundation works, steel reinforcement placement, concrete pouring, structural erection and ensuring they are done as per standards.
- Prepare NCRs for any non-compliance or substandard work and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Coordinate with third-party laboratories for material testing and ensure test results are within the acceptable range.
- Ensure that subcontractors adhere to the project's quality standards. This includes checking their workmanship and ensuring they follow the proper procedures.
- Ensure all construction processes meet local and international construction standards and building codes.
- Conduct final inspections before handling over to the client to ensure that the construction meets all specified quality requirements.
Requirements
- Preferably 5 years experiences & above in QA/QC within construction field
- Candidate must possess at least Degree in Construction Management/ Civil Engineering/ Quantity Surveying or equivalent
- Candidates who have HSE Awareness, a detailed-oriented person & good problem solver will be an added advantage
- The office is located at Bestari Jaya, Rawang & the site is located at Puncak Alam.

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
