Working Duration: 12 months contract with PERSOLKELLY (Renewable based on performance)

Working Location : Kedah

Working Days/Hours: 8 hours/day shift schedule

Salary: Basic range from RM2,500 – RM3,000 (Based on experience + skills) with statutory contribution + leave entitlement + medical coverage

JOB SUMMARY

A telecommunication technician plays a crucial role in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting communication networks. Set deadlines, assign responsibilities and monitor and summarize progress of project. Prepare reports for management regarding status of project.

WHO CAN APPLY?

• Diploma in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
• Fresh graduates to be consider with related in Engineering (ie, Electric/Electronic/Telecommunications Engineering)
• Familiar with Email, MS Excel, Word and Google Earth
• Minimum of 1 years in the telecommunications industry with outside plant, fiber optics, telecommunication architectures and project management experience.
• Demonstrated decision-making skills.
• Excellent leadership skills.
• Excellent supervisory communication and organizational skills
• Can work independently or as part of a team
• Flexible to assignment changes and able to multitask
• Ability to interpret design maps, schematics, and architectural drawings
• Flexible to work under pressure, to meet often tight deadlines.
• Have valid driving license for traveling

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Installation and Setup

• Telecommunication Systems: Install, configure, and test telecommunication equipment like routers, switches, modems, fiber optics, and cable systems.

Maintenance and Repairs

• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and fix network issues, including signal failures, interruptions, or hardware malfunctions.

Monitoring and Testing

• Performance Testing: Regularly monitor the performance of telecommunication networks using diagnostic tools to ensure optimal performance.

Documentation

• Reports and Records: Maintain logs, installation reports, and documentation related to service, repairs, and inspections.

Compliance with Safety Regulations

• Health and Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols, particularly when working with elevated structures like telecom towers or handling potentially hazardous materials like fiber optics.

Collaboration with Engineers and Designers

• Assisting Engineers: Work closely with network engineers and planners to implement large-scale network solutions.
