Test Development Hardware Engineer
Responsibilities:
Design electronic circuit, schematic and board layout of Photonics and Electronics ATE System for Camera Sensor, Power Amplifier, MOSFET, IGBT and RF products.
Provide documentation of design, prototype, validation and implementation of assigned project.
Responsible for transfer of customer requirement into schematic, layout and final test board meeting quality for test.
Perform system setup and testing to ensure system is meeting customer specification.
Manage supply chain for electronic component, equipment, system design and fabrication.
Perform evaluation, research, experiment, prototyping, proof of concept and data analysis to determine cause effect of issue and to provide solution.
Responsible for overall project, design, development, buyoff and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
Bachelor or Master Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
Experience in PCB design software such as Altium, Cadence, Kicad or equivalent.
Proficiency with simulation tools such as Cadence SI, P-SPICE or equivalent.
Strong in verbal and written communication skill.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional technical teams.
Experience in testing and debugging boards with lab equipment such as oscilloscope, DMM, function generator etc.
1-3 years of working experience in related field.
Good analytical and problem solving skills.
Motivated, strong learning ability and with positive attitude.
Applicant must be willing to work in Penang and travel on assignment.
