JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Attend to walk-in customers and actively engage with them to understand their requirements and provide personalized vehicle recommendations.
  • Assist customers in making vehicle purchasing decisions by offering comparisons, upselling, and cross-selling.
  • Understand the terminology of the automobile business and keeps abreast of changes in product technology, incoming inventory, features, accessories etc.
  • Provide thorough product information and demonstration to all prospects.
  • Offer test drives to all prospects. Follows dealership procedure to obtain proper identification from customer before test drive begins.
  • Prepare sold vehicles for customer delivery (i.e., cleans vehicles, fills gas tank, and ensures all features are operational) prior to customer arrival.
  • Helps with the used-vehicle inspection process.
  • Submit necessary documents for the purpose of bank loan.
  • Deliver vehicles to customers, ensuring that the customer understands the vehicle's operating features, warranty, and paperwork.
  • Participate in sales meetings and trainings, and continuously improve selling skills and product knowledge.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and connect with customers.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills to close sales effectively.
  • Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia & English.
  • Mandarin/Cantonese speaker will be an added advantage.
  • Able to perform the test drive with Manual/Auto gearbox which includes Cars and Motorcycles.
  • Able to travel for appointments outside of the inspection hub.
  • Sound knowledge on specific car make and models, automotive components, etc.
  • Detailed-oriented and great time management.
  • Have a valid driver’s license – minimum Class B2 & Class D.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, based on business needs.
