We are seeking a Project Engineer to join our client which plays a crucial role with the solar photovoltaic (PV) system design, project execution, and operations and maintenance (O&M). This includes the initial site visit and CAD drawing development to project management, tendering, procurement, and O&M for solar.
Job Responsibilities
Conduct engineering site visit to collect required site information for the design of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems and project execution planning.
Develop computer-aided design (CAD) drawing for Solar PV layout, Single-Line Diagram (SLD) and related engineering drawings.
Produce PVsyst reports or with other related solar simulation software.
Design proposals for solar system projects and conduct presentations to clients as required.
Design and prepare the required tender documents for solar system projects for tendering purposes.
Produce estimation of the materials and provide Bill of Material (BOM).
Plan and manage the coordination of the project execution.
Attend all documentation of report writing, handling, communication and making enquiries and compliance to Local/Relevant Authorities, especially in Licensing.
Attend all documentation of purchasing, handling, communicating and making enquiries for procurement of Solar PV System projects equipment.
Participate in Solar Project/Site Management/Operations and Maintenance.
(O&M)for existing & future solar plants.
Attend all documentation, report writing and communicate with the O&M and contractors of existing solar plants.
Qualifications & Experiences Needed
Minimum2years of work experience in the Solar PV Industry.
At least Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent experience.
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
Experience in Microsoft Office and Project, AutoCAD, PVsyst.
Possess own transportation and willing to travel when required.
Can handle multitasking.
Strong organisational and analytical skills.
Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Responsible, result-oriented with a positive attitude.
Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
