**Role Overview:**
The Senior Cyber Security Engineer will leverage their expertise in infrastructure management, implementation, support, and troubleshooting to drive security and operational efficiency across areas including Linux, Windows, security software, virtual machines, and hypervisors, with a foundational understanding of network systems. **Key Responsibilities:**
- Set priorities and expectations for incidents and requests, effectively troubleshooting and managing production issues.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve software, hardware, and process issues with a systematic approach.
- Efficiently resolve complex technical problems in high-stakes environments.
- Recommend solutions for ongoing production challenges.
- Document support incidents for data and reporting purposes.
- Manage relationships with external support vendors and resources.
- Oversee and validate business functional requirements.
- Identify, escalate, and address issues as needed.
- Conduct meetings and prepare presentations to share insights and recommendations.
- Perform preventive maintenance and assessments for internal and external systems (including client systems), identifying and remediating security concerns or vulnerabilities.
**Requirements:**
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Security Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated technical expertise in IT and security systems, with advanced troubleshooting abilities.
