Job Overview

As the Commercial Finance Lead, you will lead the team that is responsible for reporting & analytics, coordinating resolution of customer financial issues and providing information for rebates / customer promotional planning. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to overseeing distributor growth bonus calculation and promotion validation documentation, trade rebate entry and preparation of GtN summary reporting, coordination (with Customer Development and CBS) of timely local responses to AR deduction or Customer Audit Claim issues, coordination of timely local responses to unauthorized Customer Return issues, and order blocking.

What Will You Do

Forecasts & Reportings

  • Lead monthly Commercial Business Planning process
  • Elaborate and communicate sales quarterly targets
  • Provide Local Team with reports highlighting how the team is progressing vs targets
  • Drive ROI (Return on Investment) mindset and develop analysis for the team on main promo mechanics
  • Provide Sales team with all necessary analysis for customer’s yearly negotiations

Gross to Net (Rebates) accuracy and completeness

  • Ensure GTN accuracy by mastering promotions information flow from Rebate accrual creation to settlement
  • Understand flow of information and approval need from CBP (sales planning tool) to SAP
  • Make sure that Temporary Price Reductions (TPR) are in accordance with price strategy
  • TPRs and EDLP (Everyday Low Price) discounts are entered into SAP on a daily basis
  • Make sure that approvals are obtained for relevant price reduction
  • Manage pricing conditions in SAP (contracts)
  • Monthly reporting of GTN by customer’s account and nature of discount
  • Maintain close partnership and communication with Sales team and General Manager
  • Attend sales meetings

Monthly Closing

  • Check completeness of rebates for GTN, adjust with manual rebates where needed
  • Check completeness of invoicing with Shared Service Center
  • Complete monthly SOX testing requirements
  • Close Sales in SAP PA - analytical accounting
  • Reconciliations of balance sheet and income statement G/L accounts

Acccounts Receivable & Treasury

  • Monitoring bank reconciliation
  • Coollection and credit review to avoid any credit risk
  • Vaarious Monthly/quarterly/yearly reporting & commentary
  • Ensure timely clearing of account receivables and accuracy of customer’s statement of accounts
  • Cash forecasting and managing bank account’s fund
  • Ennsure all the remittances are smoothly processed

Requirements

  • Holds a degree in accountancy or professional accounting qualifications (ACCA/CPA)
  • Minimum 10+ years of work experience in FP&A, Budget Planning, Planning analysis, Commercial Finance, Financial Analysis or related field
  • Proven experience as a business partner to the commercial functions (Sales/Marketing) due to overall business understanding & perspective.
  • Capable of delivering high quality and accurate work while respecting short lead times due to strong planning & priority setting
  • Ownership & initiative to drive and ensure optimal business tracking & understanding throughout the company
  • Proven strategic and analytical thinking capability
  • Self-starter who can work well both independently and across multi-level stakeholder group
