Job Responsibilities
- Provide innovative analytical insights within the Risk Data team
- Conduct detailed data analysis on risk data used across business units to evaluate business processes and improve on/create new feature
- Perform various data analytics in hiveSQL and MS Excel using statistical models or industry accepted tools
- Provide relational database expertise to construct and execute SQL queries to be used in data analysis activities
- Provide data solutions, tools, and capabilities to enable self-service frameworks for data consumers
- Provide expertise and translate the business needs to design; and develop tools, techniques, and metrics, and dashboards for insights and data visualization
- Responsible for developing and executing tools to enable end user identify potential fraud
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience working with analytical tools and/or data analysis (e.g. Maxcompute SQL, Python, Power BI, Quick BI).
- Experience in analysis of large data sets, identifying trends and patterns, and effectively communicating both internally and externally.
- Experience with cleaning, aggregating, and pre-processing data from varied sources.
- Experience with develop details, comprehensive and well structured test cases and test scripts for credit risk related application would be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of any the tools for data mining, statistics, analysis, and scripting (e.g. R, SAS, Neo4J, Python) would be an added advantage.
- Excellence in structured and logical thinking, process optimization, interpersonal communication and influencing skills.
- Ability to work through ambiguity and thrive in a rapidly changing environment.
