JOB DESCRIPTION
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor warehousing and logistic operations.
- Develop, implement and continually improve logistic and warehouse operating procedure and efficiency of workers.
- Recommend improvement plans to streamline processes and enhance the efficiency of the supply chain and increase Company profitability.
- Collaborate with stakeholders / inter-department to resolve operational difficulties, challenges or complaint.
- Liaise and coordinate with transporters / freight forwarders on the transportation, shipping, and delivery activities to ensure timely and cost-effective distribution.
- Manage all aspects of the product export shipping processes, including scheduling, routing, tracking shipments and also handling full set of shipping documentation.
- Assist or carry out any other duties as and when assigned by superior.
JOB REQUIREMENT
- Over 5 years of working experience in the same field (Distribution / Warehousing / Logistics / Transportation / Inventory) and experience in the FMCG industry is an added advantage.
- Good in spoken and written in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Good interpersonal skills and able to interact with people at all level.
- Strong data analytical skills and ability to show effective leadership to solve problems and set priorities.
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Computer literate and proficient in MS Office tools / application (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
