  • Responsible for developing and implement growth opportunities for the Company
  • To review the current business plan for any improvement opportunity and develop business growth strategies and plans.
  • Evaluate execution strategies for the identified land acquisition proposals as approved by the management.
  • Make recommendation to the Management on the optimal execution strategy for land acquisition and follow through until completion of the deal.
  • To exercise reasonable care and caution to ensure that the confidentiality of Company’s documents and all material information in relation to the business is not compromised.
  • To perform ad-hoc tasks assigned by Management from time to time.
  • To draft and implement a business development plan, develop the strategic plan of the Company.
  • To develop business development strategy in sourcing, managing, and implementing new business acquisitions or new landbanks and property investment opportunities through direct acquisition or joint venture or any other business opportunities.
  • To screen potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potentials, and financials, evaluating options, resolving internal priorities; assess risk and cost/benefit, etc.
  • To develops negotiating strategies and positions, examining risks and potentials, estimating partners’ needs and goals.
  • To secure new business deals by developing, negotiating, and finalize contracts. Required to integrate contract requirements with business operations post-contract signing.
  • To lead and perform market research and compiling databases on the property sector, demographic, economic, and other related property news.
  • Evaluate and assess various land offers both solicited and unsolicited for all the pocket and strategic lands identified for acquisition.
  • To come out with standard presentation, minutes meeting, reporting for company including and to be standardize for implementation for other internal departmental.
  • Create a strong network with agents, land brokers, valuers and etc to establish an ongoing strong source of land acquisition efforts and vital information of market trends and requirements.

    Financials

    • To lead comprehensive feasibility studies for all projects/land identification and give briefing and presentation on the finding to the management.
    • Demonstrate various financial modelling tools to support land acquisition decisions to the Management.
    • To compile all documentation related for preparation of feasibility study and business development detail study and to coordinate between internal department to compile and present on any proposal or new business related.

  • Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Business /Economics/Management, Finance, Valuation/Real Estates Management, Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
  • At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Required language(s): English, Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Required skill(s): Well versed in property investment & property valuation principles.
  • Ability to work independently and set priorities to achieve desired results
  • Excellent problem solving, leadership, analysis, good interpersonal and communication skills, initiative, strong financial and business insight.
  • Preferably with valuation experience and ideally a good familiarity with Malaysia Land & Industrial market
  • Superb partner relationship management, presentation, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • In-depth knowledge in dealing with Malaysian property development management.
  • Ability to build financial models for real estate development projects.
  • Proficiency in business written and verbal communications with excellent presentation skills in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia is preferable
