# Our client is a sizable Shopping Mall Co. with their office located in Petaling Jaya # < RESPONSIBILITIES > 1) Event Planning & Coordination Liaise with clients to determine event requirements, including space, budget, schedule, and technical needs. Develop event plans, timelines, and floor layouts for exhibitions, trade shows, conferences, and other events. Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., operations, marketing, and technical support) and external vendors to ensure all event components are in place. 2) Budget Management Prepare cost estimates and manage event budgets to ensure cost-effectiveness. Negotiate with vendors and suppliers to secure the best terms. Track expenses and ensure events are delivered within the allocated budget. 3) Venue & Logistics Management Oversee the setup, breakdown, and maintenance of exhibition spaces. Ensure all technical and logistical requirements (lighting, sound, AV, etc.) are met. Manage security, safety protocols, and compliance with health and safety regulations during events. 4) Client & Vendor Relations Act as the main point of contact for clients, handling inquiries and resolving issues efficiently. Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, exhibitors, and contractors. Conduct post-event evaluations and gather feedback to improve future events. 5) Staff Supervision & Coordination Supervise event staff, including floor managers, volunteers, and temporary staff. Assign tasks, manage schedules, and ensure smooth communication between teams during the event. 6 ) Marketing & Promotion (if applicable) Work with the marketing team to promote events and exhibitions. Assist in the development of event promotional materials, such as brochures and social media content. 7) Reporting & Analysis Create post-event reports that include financial summaries, attendance data, and feedback. Analyze the success of each event and provide recommendations for future improvements. < REQUIREMENTS > Degree/Diploma/Cert holder. Min 3 years of experience in Event Management within an Exhibition / Conference environment is a MUST. Strong organizational & project management skills. Ability to work under pressure & handle multiple events simultaneously. Proficiency in Event Management Software & Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with large-scale exhibition planning is desire. Proficient in English, Bahasa & Mandarin / Cantonese to support business. Permanent vacancy based in Petaling Jaya.
