We are seeking a seasoned Data Centre Construction Project Manager based in Johor, Malaysia to oversee and manage data centre construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that facility projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will coordinate with various stakeholders, including government bodies, engineers, contractors, and clients, to ensure successful project execution and is expected to have strong MEP background.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective use of resources.
- Lead and coordinate project teams, including subcontractors and site personnel, to ensure clear communication and collaboration.
- Implement quality assurance processes to ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any concerns.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, ensure safety protocols are followed, and address any issues that arise.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Engineering Management
- Minimum 10 years of experience in construction project management.
- Strong communication skills, outgoing personality
- Accept short-to medium-term overseas business trips (2-3 months per trip); ability to work under pressure effectively.
- Proven track record of successfully managing partnerships with government bodies & strong understanding of Malaysia construction laws
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, Procore).
- Knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CCM) are a plus.
- Have Malaysian employment rights
- Role will be based in Johor, Malaysia
