Job Description
East Malaysia Shipments:
- Track and monitor shipments to East Malaysia.
Export Bulk Shipments:
- Check sales contracts for necessary documents and email charges to Sales.
- Confirm bookings and arrange direct loading as needed.
- Prepare and send draft documents to Sales, coordinate BL with shipping agents, and post vessel deliveries.
- Handle custom declarations (K2), verify charges, and prepare files.
Export Container Shipments:
- Review sales contracts, confirm bookings, and communicate charges with Sales.
- Coordinate container schedules with port timings, prepare documents (ROT, SI, BL), and arrange container deliveries to port.
- Perform vessel delivery postings, handle invoices, custom declarations (K2), and get HOD approvals.
- Maintain organized documentation.
General and Other Tasks:
- Issue vessel notices, picking slips, and manage payment documents.
- Confirm draft BLs and prepare Custom Form K3 for East Malaysia.
- Renew annual licenses like FMM and "Penjenisan" for MITI costing.
- Confirm stock availability and get approval from HOD for vessel arrangements.
- Book vessels and coordinate with shipping agents.
- Send charges for Port Klang and update reports.
- Apply insurance as needed, generate documents, get HOD approvals, and handle document couriers.
- Verify invoices and shipping agent charges, process payments, and organize records.
Job Requirements
- Must possess at least a SPM / STPM/ Certificate / Diploma in Business Studies/Administration/Management/Supply Chain/Finance or equivalent.
- Well versed in MS Excel, MS Word and Power Point.
- Able to work in fast paced environment.
- Experience in shipping and exposure in heavy industry.
