Job Functions:

1. Inspecting Raw Materials and Products

Conduct regular inspections of raw materials, ingredients, and finished products.

2. Monitoring Production Processes

Oversee various stages of the production process to ensure consistency and compliance.
Check that production equipment is functioning correctly and that it’s sanitized and calibrated as required.
Ensure workers adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) for hygiene and handling.

3. Testing and Sampling

Take samples from different batches to conduct tests for factors like texture, flavor, temperature, and composition.
Utilize equipment like pH meters, thermometers, and other tools to measure critical quality parameters.

4. Recording and Documenting Data

Document results from inspections, tests, and observations in logs or databases.
Report any deviations from quality standards, along with corrective actions taken.
Ensure that all documentation complies with regulatory requirements and company policies.

5. Implementing and Enforcing Quality Standards

Work with the Quality Assurance (QA) team to develop and update quality standards.
Help train production staff on quality practices, food safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
Ensure all safety and cleanliness protocols are strictly followed to prevent contamination.

6. Reporting and Troubleshooting

Identify and report any quality issues promptly to minimize waste or defects.
Assist in investigating the cause of quality failures and implementing solutions to prevent recurrence.
