· Purchase supplies and materials according to specifications (e.g.: PO, WOQ, etc.)
· Dealing with the freight forwarder for the shipment
· Coordinate and supervise receiving and warehousing procedures (e.g. incoming and outgoing processes)
· Control inventory levels and ensure availability of material during emergencies
· Maintain relationships and negotiate with suppliers
· Keep detailed records on purchasing activity, materials quantity, specifications etc. (E.g.: Materials list, Stock take list or Bonded listing)
· Assist in forecasting to plan future orders
· Research potential vendors
· Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers
· Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing
· Track orders and ensure timely delivery
· Review the quality of purchased parts or materials
· Enter order details (e.g. vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases (e.g. Purchase Order)
· Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices
· Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses
· Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed
· Perform other tasks given by the leader or manager
