Key responsibilities:
An Accounts Assistant will normally be expected to undertake the following duties and responsibilities, which include:
- Transaction recordings
- Preparation of daily financial reports
- Handling and issuing cheques
- Bank reconciliation
- Processing invoices, expense forms & claim forms
- Providing administrative support to the team
- Working closely with non-finance team to obtain operational information
Requirements
- Enthusiastic, committed and a fast learner
- Sensitive towards number
- Basic understanding of bookkeeping and accountancy procedures
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work with individuals across departments
- Multi-task and able to handle ad-hoc task (if required)
