Plans, schedules and monitors the movement of materials through the production cycle to determine required materials purchases. Obtains materials using engineering and production schedules to maintain inventory at planned levels (i.e., Just in Time purchases, use of EOQ - Economic Order Quantities). Resolves discrepancies. Creates and maintains bills of material and parts/commodities numbers in supply chain management or other enterprisewide systems. Ensures material standards are met and non-conformances or variances are approved and/or minimized. Develops specifications for new contract orders. Gathers quotations, examines bids and makes awards.

  • Provide dedicated, supply chain operations support the factory.
  • Manage non-technical, supply chain projects using an internal customer perspective, typically from initiation through delivery.
  • Provide forecasting, planning and strategic execution support to the supply chain to meet current and future business requirements.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams through meetings and progress measurement activity which bring distinct, specific projects to completion both on time and within tolerable risk levels.
  • Lead and participate in cross functional teams to identify material delivery risk to customer orders.
  • Represent supply chain readiness for manufacturing build and system delivery/shipment.
  • Develop and monitor risk mitigation strategies, and coordinate root cause corrective actions.
  • Lead and participate in projects to resolve problems or to support continuous process improvement Develop timely reports and key performance indicators to identify/monitor material delivery challenges.
  • You will be responsible in implementing initiatives to strengthen team competency, middle management capability and to instil a strong continuous improvement and supply chain excellence mindset within the supply chain organization.
  • You should have strong ability to analyze and assess business needs and formulate strategic initiatives, roadmap to drive long term improvements in efficiency, productivity and value add. Must be data driven, passionate and result oriented with high learning agility and adaptability of new working environment.

Requirements:

  • Minimum, Degree, Master Degree, with preferably an MBA.
  • At least 15-20 years or more of experience as a supply chain leader in complex environment with a proven track record. (Min. 15 years in Manager/ Sr Manager role).
  • Proven leadership skills in building and managing large teams with a history of world class success.
  • Ability to analyze and utilize data in decision making, achievement of business objectives, and driving best quality solutions, practices and policies.
  • A strong planning (long-, mid- and short-term), process and project management expertise.
  • Experience in SAP system
  • Experience dealing with corporate will be added advantage.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills (numerically literate), a clear ‘can-do’ attitude with the ability to manage complexity and to prioritize fast in an agile and dynamic environment.
  • Proven track record in successful implementation of continuous improvement initiatives by applying lean management.
  • Escalate gaps and unattended risks and issues until resolved.
  • High level of organizations skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving methods.

Pay: RM28,000.00 - RM40,000.00 per month

Schedule:

Supplemental Pay:

  • 13th month salary
