The Quality Assurance & Accreditation Manager / Accreditation & Compliance Specialist is responsible for ensuring Mantissa College’s programs meet the standards and compliance requirements set by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) and Ministry of Higher Education (KPT). This role will involve managing the program accreditation process, conducting audits, and ensuring all submissions align with regulatory requirements. The position is integral in maintaining Mantissa College’s reputation for high standards in education and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Program Accreditation (COPPA Documentation)
- Craft and prepare MQA COPPA (Code of Practice for Programme Accreditation) documents for the submission of new academic programs.
- Work closely with academic departments to gather necessary data, align program content with MQA requirements, and submit comprehensive and accurate COPPA documents.
2. Audit Preparation and Compliance
- Oversee and prepare the institution for MQA and KPT audits, ensuring all documentation and processes are in compliance with the set standards.
- Coordinate and lead internal audit processes to evaluate and ensure ongoing compliance with MQA standards.
- Prepare audit reports, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions to address audit findings.
3. Regulatory Compliance
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of MQA and KPT policies and standards to ensure Mantissa College's full compliance.
- Develop and enforce internal policies and procedures that align with MQA and KPT standards.
- Liaise with MQA and KPT representatives to stay updated on changes in regulatory requirements.
4. Advisory Role in Hiring and Selection
- Advise the college management on the selection and hiring of academic staff and resources required to meet MQA COPPA standards.
- Provide insights on required qualifications, teaching experience, and necessary competencies for faculty involved in accredited programs.
5. Continuous Quality Improvement
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement across all departments to uphold Mantissa College’s quality assurance standards.
- Monitor, review, and improve quality assurance processes to ensure efficient and effective accreditation practices.
- Conduct training sessions for staff on MQA and KPT requirements, quality assurance, and accreditation standards.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum Qualification in Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Education, or related field. Preferred Qualification: Master’s Degree in Business Administration.
- Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in higher education institutions, ideally within accredited programs.
- Demonstrated expertise in MQA, COPPA, and KPT compliance standards, as well as experience with MQA and KPT audits.
- Must possess a valid Malaysian teaching permit for a minimum of 2 years.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail, capable of identifying and resolving quality-related issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
- Ability to work effectively with faculty, management, and regulatory bodies.
- Proven ability to manage multiple accreditation projects, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.
- Ability to think critically and proactively address accreditation challenges.
- High level of accuracy in documentation and reporting to meet regulatory requirements.
- Capable of training and guiding faculty on quality assurance and compliance standards.
- Good in paper work
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,800.00 per month
