Job Responsibilities
Scope of Works for Senior IT Engineer (Currently Assign as Resident Engineer to Bahagian Teknologi Maklumat, Majlis Keselamatan Negara, Putrajaya) :
1. Working Hours
The Resident Engineer is required to work 9 hours a day which is 5 days a week following government working hours (Appoint another PIC or replacement to cover duties during leave period if needed).
2. Technical Support
Provide first and second level technical support for all equipment and systems that need to be maintained.
3. Experience in Data Center (DC) and Disaster Recovery Center (DRC)
Skilled and knowledgeable in managing DC and DRC, including technologies such as server, storage, firewall, smart containment and HyperConverged Infrastructure (HCI).
4. Monitoring and Operations
Oversee the functionality, network, and operations of Data Center (DC), Disaster Recovery Center (DRC), and Network and Security Operations Center (NSOC). This includes managing and monitoring equipment and systems used at MKN such as:
-Smart Containment
-Firewalls, including analyzers
-Email Security
-Endpoint Security
-HyperConverged Infrastructure (HCI) (Provision VM if required)
-Active Directory
-Backup Systems
-Network Monitoring Systems
-Endpoint Central
-Switches
-Access Points
-Card Access Systems
-Video Wall Systems
-CCTV
-Fire Operation System
-Other equipment and systems as specified in the technical project specifications.
5. Equipment/System Management
Capable of operating and managing the equipment and systems under maintenance.
6. Monthly Reporting
Prepare and submit monthly reports on the performance and activities for the month.
7. Other duties as assigned by the immediate superior.
8. The companies have right to change the JD and allocate you based on experience and skills with advance notice.

- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology and any relevant fields
