As a Commercial Project Manager, you will work alongside the TI EAD SG project management team. The role is important for financial monitoring during project execution, ensuring spare parts and service orders are booked and completed within the targets. The position involves comprehensive financial analysis, planning, controlling activities, and handling all related finance project tasks. You will be responsible for running projects in Singapore while based in Malaysia.

How You’ll Make An Impact

  • Ordering and Managing Inventory:
  • Initiate sales orders and purchase orders to vendors according to customer requirements.
  • Ensure the accuracy of order books and records, including recording in appropriate systems (e.g., SAP).
  • Ensure timely shipment/billing of orders (equipment, spare parts, and services).
  • Track and maintain standard costs compared to actual and moving average costs.
  • Perform inventory/cost of sales account reconciliations.
  • Project Reporting and Controlling:
  • Develop the estimating program and produce estimates based on collected contractual data, financial requirements, and the scope of work and services.
  • Work closely with PM (Project Manager) to supervise project costs and produce preliminary reports as well as project budgets and financial performance.
  • Identify and resolve any financial discrepancies related to projects.
  • Financial Analysis and Reporting:
  • Accomplish financial analysis, planning, and controlling activities.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and forecasts.
  • Implement the assigned organizational unit's financial and business administration policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Ensure tax compliance management.
  • Running Contracts:
  • Check content and analyze supplier and customer contracts to ensure compliant and standardized contract management.
  • Actively connect with customer's commercial representatives and handle the resolution of commercial issues.
  • Internal Auditing and Confidentiality:
  • Involve in internal auditing. and handle confidential information with utmost care.
  • Leadership and Development:
  • Apply sophisticated knowledge of the job area typically acquired through advanced education and work experience.
  • Lead projects/processes, working independently with limited supervision.
  • Coach and review the work of lower-level professionals


What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles and project management.
  • Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and familiar with working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with booking systems for spare parts and service orders.
