Job Summary:

The Senior Manager, Learning and Development is responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of learning strategies that align with MMHE’s organizational goals. This role ensures that employees across all levels are equipped with the necessary skills, knowledge, and competencies to drive the company's strategic objectives, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and support long-term talent development and succession planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the overall learning and development strategy, ensuring alignment with MMHE’s business objectives and long-term goals.
  • Oversee the design and delivery of leadership development programs that focus on cultivating leaders at all levels—leading self, leading others, and leading the business, in line with MMHE's leadership framework.
  • Work with relevant stakeholders to identify functional competency requirements and oversee the development of programs to build these competencies across the workforce in meeting the business requirements.
  • Collaborate with business leadership teams to create and manage a structured succession planning process that identifies and develops key talent across the organization. Ensure a robust pipeline of potential successors for critical roles to support long-term business continuity.
  • Ensure the optimized utilization of the in-house training center by supporting the execution of planned development programs and providing high-quality learning experiences for employees.

Other Responsibilities: Develop talent management programs that include:

  • High-Potential (HiPo) Program: Identify, nurture, and develop high-potential employees for future leadership roles, ensuring a robust succession pipeline.
  • Internship Management: Lead internship programs that align with government aspirations to support the development of young talent while serving as a key source for MMHE's future talent pipeline.
  • Graduate Management Program: Oversee the Graduate Management Program (GMP), which aims to accelerate the development of new graduates, preparing them for key roles in the organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in Human Resources, including Learning and Development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Expertise in modern learning technologies and platforms.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across functions.
  • Being a Certified Trainer by HRD Corp would be an added advantage.
