Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee all secretarial functions of OCIM SDN BHD, ensuring compliance with regulatory and corporate governance requirements.
  • Coordinate the preparation and filing of statutory documents and returns to the relevant authorities.
  • Prepare accurate and detailed minutes of Board meetings, annual general meetings, and other corporate meetings.
  • Maintain corporate records, including registers of shareholders, directors, and other statutory documents, ensuring they are up to date and compliant with applicable regulations.
  • Assist senior management and the Board in implementing corporate governance policies and best practices.
  • Provide administrative support for corporate meetings, including scheduling, agenda preparation, and follow-up actions.
  • Stay informed about changes in corporate laws and regulations impacting the organization, providing guidance to the company as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure alignment with corporate governance practices and compliance standards.
  • Develop training materials and provide guidance to staff on corporate governance and secretarial practices.

Requirements

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field; a professional qualification in company secretarial practice is advantageous.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a company secretarial role or corporate governance function.
  • Strong understanding of corporate governance principles, company law, and regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information succinctly.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects efficiently in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; proficiency in other languages is a plus.
  • Demonstrated integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
