Mission:
- Take the lead in all commercial, contractual and finance related aspects of assigned Project(s)
- Lead a team of Commercial & Business Administration Professionals to support projects under execution.
- Full ownership (jointly with the Project Manager) in the management and oversight of a project throughout its lifecycle, taking an active role in all aspects of the process
- Manage the overall commercial aspects of project execution, including cost controlling, reporting, forecasting, claim management, and opportunity and risk management.
- Support the Country CFO with analysis of project financial results according to the agreed project targets.
- Drive the monthly project performance review process, analyzing deviations and identifying potential measures and opportunities.
- Ensure project business administration activities are performed in accordance with the contract, including invoicing and cash collection.
- Assure the correctness, consistency, and transparency of the overall project’s financial status in compliance with internal Financial Reporting Guidelines and local GAAP requirements.
- Involve in project month-end closing activities, preparing cost accruals/provisions, and ensuring revenue and profit declarations are properly recognized.
- Participate in the selection of project partners and subcontractors.
- Support internal and external project audits as required and perform project close-out activities.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager on the project’s strategic orientation and its respective internal and external communication and actively manage project stakeholders.
- Lead, mentor, and guide team members to manage their respective projects throughout the project life cycle.
- Ensure compliance with relevant company and local regulations, such as transfer pricing, tax, and Business Conduct Guidelines.
- May be involved in project bid activities.
- Degree in Accounting or Finance or Business Administration
- > 10 years working experience in Finance or Accounting
- Strong financial acumen with good knowledge of project business and principles.
- Experience in Financial analysis, Project Audits and Controlling, wider financial experience including Accounting, Tax, Financial Planning, Management reporting and Controlling
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Office (with advanced Excel & PowerPoint knowledge). Experience in SAP and Power BI will be an added advantage.
- Project Management Certification is a plus.
- Prior experience in Big 4 firms would be an advantage
- Experience in working in a multinational environment with strong focus in collaborating cross functional & geographical team is a plus.
- Analytical, self-initiative and team player with good communication skills
- Proficient in both spoken and written English due to multi-cultural working environment
