JOB DESCRIPTION – ACCOUNT ASSISTANT 1. Collaborate with accountant to successfully execute various accounting tasks. 2. Manage the documentation of yearly company audit submission – preparing checklist, collecting documents, verification of documents, updating record and submission process. 3. Assist in monthly bank reconciliation and maintain files of bank transfer supporting documents, invoice processing and filing. 4. Develop yearly planning to improve the school income and collection system. 5. Develop and execute strategic and tactical marketing plans and activities to build up the school reputation and strengthen the School’s financial performance. 6. Develop own KPI to maintain the School’s financial to achieve a better outcome. 7. Processing expense requests for the accountant 8. Updating and maintaining procedural documentation. 9. Controlling credit and chasing debt. 10. Create financial documents such as bills, invoices, pay-orders, payables, receivables and purchase orders 11. Identify discrepancies in ledgers and accounts, tracking them to the source and correcting them. 12. Advise yearly school overall budget according to the responsibilities assigned. 13. Processing financial government submissions and requirements. 14. Provide administration support. 15. Contact with customers especially regarding payables and receivables. You must know how to interact with others in a productive yet courteous manner. 16. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including invoices, expenses, and transactions. 17. Issue invoices to customers as needed. 18. Account assistant must also have a thorough knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other spreadsheet programs. 19. Must ensure that work is error-free. 20. Assist other ad-hoc duties as required.
