About the role The Utility Technician will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and repairing of HVAC, BMS & EMS and related equipment to ensure it operates at optimum efficiency. This role requires a strong understanding of ISO 14644 standard which relate to design and maintenance of clean room in pharmaceutical environment. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor the operational of HVAC system, BMS, EMS, and chiller system in the BMS & EMS workstation. Performs routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure they operate properly. Keeping and maintaining daily logs and records for all operation systems of HVAC, BMS, EMS, and chiller. Identify and investigate faults happened in HVAC system, BMS, EMS, chiller operation and repair it quickly and efficiently. Assist engineer in handling the troubleshooting, maintenance, and rectification works related to HVAC, BMS, EMS, and chiller equipment. Maintain preventive maintenance schedules and procedures for all HVAC system. Receive and complete work orders in a timely and efficient manner. Perform general cleaning/maintenance tasks necessary to keep equipment and system in clean operable operation. Inspect jobs upon completion to ensure areas are clean. Comply with service standards, work instructions and customer’s requirements Communicate to immediate superior on any breakdowns. Perform troubleshooting as well as repair works. Always maintain the utility area in a safe and hygienic condition Respond promptly to emergency situations and perform necessary repairs Perform periodic inspections and maintenance of Chiller, AHU, BMS, EMS and related equipment as per schedule to ensure the abovementioned Utilities are well maintained to achieve the required efficiency Assist immediate superior in maintaining necessary documentations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards Assist immediate superior on documentations for performing preventive maintenance and calibrations Monitor and coordinate the activities carried out by external agencies / providers and maintain the relevant documentations, maintenance records and operational logs Assist in the installation of HVAC System, BMS and EMS as needed. Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to optimize system performance Ensure implementation of HSE. Job Requirements: Candidate must possess at least Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics or equivalent Minimum 3 years of related working experience preferably in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) environment. Relevant technical training is a plus Experienced in working for Pharma, FMCG and/or Healthcare industries will be added advantage Physical stamina and the ability to work in various environmental conditions Strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving and cost management mindset. Demonstrated strong coordination and collaboration skills through effective teamwork and clear communication. High level of integrity and professionalism. Adaptable to changing priorities and able to manage multiple stakeholders effectively. For plant administration, must be willing to work in Bandar Enstek, Negeri Sembilan.
