Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced CSA (Civil, Structural, and Architectural) Senior Manager to lead and oversee the CSA aspects of our Data Centre construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing complex construction projects, with a focus on Data Centres, and will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects within scope, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Lead and manage all CSA aspects of Data Centre construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Planning and Scheduling: Develop and maintain detailed project plans and schedules, ensuring alignment with overall project timelines.
  • Design Management: Oversee the design process, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and project requirements. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure design integrity.
  • Budget Management: Prepare and manage budgets for CSA components, monitor costs, and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
  • Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce quality control procedures to ensure high standards of workmanship and adherence to specifications.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of CSA professionals, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain effective communication with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project goals are met.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure all CSA activities comply with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, challenges, and solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. Advanced degrees and professional certifications (e.g., PMP, LEED, PE) are a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on Data Centre projects.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera), CAD software, and other relevant tools.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of Data Centre infrastructure, CSA best practices, building codes, and regulations.
  • Leadership: Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a diverse team.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on innovative and practical solutions.
  • Detail-Oriented: High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality results.
