Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Lecturer of Economy at KOP EDUCATORS & CONSULTANTS SDN BHD in Cyberjaya. The Lecturer of Economy will be responsible for delivering lectures, conducting research, developing course materials, and assessing student learning. The role also involves providing academic guidance and support to students, participating in departmental meetings, and contributing to curriculum development.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver lectures, seminars, and tutorials in various areas of economics, such as microeconomics, macroeconomics, international economics, and econometrics.
  • Design and develop course materials, including syllabi, assignments, exams, and online resources.
  • Use innovative teaching methodologies and technologies to enhance the learning experience.
  • Provide academic support and mentorship to students through consultations and feedback sessions
  • Participate in the design, review, and updating of the economics curriculum to ensure it meets academic and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance interdisciplinary learning opportunities.
  • Assist in the assessment and evaluation of student performance, including grading assignments, exams, and projects.
  • Participate in department meetings, faculty committees, and other administrative tasks as required.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Economics or related field; PhD preferred
  • Expertise in Economics, Teaching, and Research
  • Experience in developing course materials and assessing student performance
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students
  • Experience in curriculum development and educational assessment
  • Relevant teaching certifications or qualifications
