JOB PURPOSE:
- Strategize, lead and supervise asset management operations performance of Offshore Business Unit assets under the Malaysia and International pool to ensure the assets Operations and Maintenance activities achieve the desired uptime reliability, safety and cost effectiveness as well as in compliance to the industry regulations, CLASS and standards in meeting customer’s requirements.
- Strategize and lead the Asset Operations Excellence activities in ensuring the operations activities being performed in accordance with the established Operations Management Systems.
- Strategize, lead and supervise MISC OBU’s Asset Operations activities and initiatives in meeting uptime and contract requirement with highest level of safety and compliance to the industry regulations, and benchmark against established Asset Operators to ensure MISC OBU can achieve the desired operational profit margin, risk is effectively managed and safeguard MISC OBU interest.
- Strategize, lead and supervise asset service activities to ensure project is delivered in accordance to project requirement, schedule and within budget.
- Strategize, lead and supervise overall Asset Operational Readiness Assurance of OBU floaters during the project conversion until completion and Post Operations phase that shall be in line with the Asset Management System and Operational Excellence to ensure OBU achieve the desired operational profit margin target and be a profit center.
- Manage all OBU Asset Management Contracts with Inclusive Joint Venture Companies to ensure Asset Management execution activities are conducted effectively and efficiently as per contractual requirements.
- Strategize, lead and supervise establishment and capability development and improvement for effective implementation of asset operation management to ensure conformance to contractual requirement, uptime and compliance to Class and regulation requirement and ensure OBU’s Corporate QHSSE policies, procedures and guidelines in operational and maintenance activities are established, implemented, maintained and sustained.
- Develop and maintain good relationships with customers, government authorities and agencies to facilitate regulatory compliance requirements and other pertinent issues related to asset operations and maintenance management
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 17 years of work experience in Marine and Oil & Gas Operations experience and at least 6 years as an operations supervisory position in marine or offshore or project execution related to Oil & Gas industry preferably in FPSO/FSO Operations.
- Maritime professional qualification e.g. COC Class 1 or minimum Class 2.
