JOB DESCRIPTION :

  1. Responsible for overseeing and managing the expansion and development of sales and retail operations of operation in Malaysia.
  2. Responsible for driving revenue growth, achieving sales targets, managing and developing the retail network, and ensuring exceptional customer experience.
  3. Handle vendor selection/ procurement to setting up operation of the business;
  4. Responsible for developing other retail/direct sales event and department store sales.
  5. Develop Business Plan, strategies and Operation plans in line with company's directive
  6. This is a senior leadership position that requires strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and the ability to lead and motivate a high-performing sales and retail team.
  7. Identify sites for setting up profitable outlet/s, and set up operation. sales leads, achieve sales target and gross profit %;
  8. Develop sales channels (including but not limited to Dealers, departmental Store, Chain Stores, Road Show) and drive sales and gross margin % set by management;
  9. Constantly establishing new contacts, sales leads and sales avenues of sales that contribute to the growth of company.
  10. To manage and review promoter’s performance, regularly update and educate promoters on product knowledge and upcoming product or promotion;
  11. Attend to consumers' enquires, feedback/ complaints, and follow up with after sales service;
  12. Knowledge of the local market, consumer behavior, and competition within the country.
  13. Gather feedback and information on competitors and ground activities. Feedback to management for proactive actions on product trend and promotional activities;
  14. Other responsibilities that may be delegated or stipulated by management.

Requirement:

  1. Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field. Min Diploma in Business (or related discipline).
  2. Minimum 5 to 10 years in sales experience in dealing with Furniture Retail sales;
  3. Familiarity with retail operations, visual merchandising, inventory management, and customer service principles.
  4. Strong track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth in managing mid scale multi-outlets operation;
  5. Proven experience as a Sales Manager, Retail Manager, or in a similar leadership role within the sales and retail industry.
  6. Warehouse Management and Inventory Management to ensure optimal stock holding (within working capital guideline);
  7. Responsible & positive attitude
  8. Resourceful and Creative, able to generate new ideas to improve sales.
  9. High integrity & honesty
  10. Good human-relation skill & a team-player. Good communication skills at all level.
  11. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
