Mechanical plants effectively and efficiently and to carry out preventive maintenance as per plan schedule. 1. Ensure day-to-day operational efficiency of Air-Conditioning Section  Carry out daily maintenance work on air-conditioning and refrigeration system such as air handling units, fan coil units, cold rooms and ice-cube machine under the instruction of Superior.  Inspect and check all air-conditioning and refrigeration plants under the instruction of Superior.  Carry out preventive maintenance works under the supervision of Superior.  Follow-up daily work order received from various departments.  Assist superior on remedy repair and coordinate with other M & E staff where necessary.  Check air conditioning and refrigeration system temperature and pressure and adjust where necessary.  Check refrigerant leakage and recharge where necessary.  Check and adjust tension of drive belt for all air-handling unit and exhaust fan.  Check all exhaust fans and lubricate bearing and cleaning of air suction filters. 2. Ensure day-to-day operational efficiency of Audio Video Section  Follow-up preventive maintenance on all sound system, guest room audio and video equipment.  Carry out daily maintenance work, inspect and check all sound system, audio equipment and T.V.  Follow-up work order received from various departments.  Assist superior on remedy repair and coordinate with other M & E staff where necessary.  Attend emergency call.  Check sound level of background music and in-house music and adjust if necessary.  Set up audio equipment, P.A. system, projector, screen etc. for banquet, seminar and meetings events.  Cleaning tape recorder clean, disc and inspect magnetic contact. 3. Ensure day-to-day operational efficiency of Electrical & Mechanical Section  Carry out preventive maintenance works under the supervision of Superior.  Carry out daily maintenance work on all electrical and mechanical plants such as switchgears, motors, starters, cables etc. under the instruction of Superior.  Inspect and check all electrical and mechanical plants/equipments under the instruction of Superior.  Follow-up work order received from various departments.  Assist superior on remedy repair and coordinate with other M & E staff where necessary.  Check lighting system, timer and adjust if necessary and replace fused bulb when necessary. 4. Ensure day-to-day operational efficiency of Carpentry Section  Carry out preventive maintenance work under the supervision of Superior.  Carry out daily maintenance work on all exit doors, ceiling closer and hinges etc. under the instructions of Superior.  Follow-up work order received from various departments.  Assist superior on remedy repair and coordinate with other M & E staff where necessary.  Carry out regular inspection and carry out repairs, replace or adjust on defective doors, hinge or closer etc where necessary.  Provide carpentry and painting support to resort building, furniture, fixture and fitting.  Supervise carpentry and painting work done by external contractor. 5. Ensure day-to-day operational efficiency of the Boiler Section  Ensure boiler plants are in normal operation through monitoring, checking, testing and controlling the operation such as boiler water, calorimeters, treatment etc..  Carry out preventive maintenance work under the instruction of Chief Engineer.  Check and keep log of boilers and steam system.  Carry out daily inspection and maintenance work if required on boiler plants and laundry machineries.  Inspect and check steam system and plumbing work under the instruction of Chief Engineer.  Attend emergency repairs such as burst pipe, heating etc.  Follow-up work order received from various departments.  Assist superior on remedy repair and coordinate with other M & E staff where necessary. 6. Ensure day-to-day operational efficiency of the Plumbing Section  Carry out preventive maintenance work under the instruction of superior.  Carry out daily maintenance work on all plumbing such as piping, drainage, sewage, sprinkler system etc.  Inspect, check and carry out repair and replacement work on all plumping, drainage and sewage plant under the instruction of superior.  Attend emergency repairs such as burst pipe.  Follow-up work order received from various departments.  Assist superior on remedy repair and coordinate with other M & E staff where necessary.  Check submersible pump operation, sump tank level and fresh water tank level.  Back-wash fresh water sterilizer if necessary and clean water pump suction filter once a week.  Log temperature and pressure of F.W. and S.W. pumps, F.W. Heater and sterilizer etc. 7. Perform other duties as and when required by the Management from time to time.
