1. Prepare traditional Korean BBQ dishes with various cuts of meats and recipes including samgyeopsal (pork belly), dakgalbi (spicy marinated chicken) and other classic BBQ items. 2. Prepare a variety of traditional Korean side dishes (banchan) such as kimchi, moo sang chae (seasoned radish), and pickled radish. 3. Regularly check the freshness of ingredients and ensure that each dish meets the restaurant’s quality standards. 9. Teach kitchen staff how to prepare Korean dishes and use proper cooking techniques. 10. Help create work schedules that ensure the kitchen is well-staffed during busy hours, while also respecting employees’ needs. 11. Monitor ingredient levels to ensure the kitchen has everything it needs. 12. Keep clear records of recipes and cooking methods to ensure consistency in all dishes served. 13. Actively engage with customers during their dining experience, sharing details about the menu and the origins of dishes. 14. Keep up with the latest trends and innovations in Korean cuisine through research or attending food festivals to keep the menu relevant. 15. Able to cook with non halal ingredients. 16. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure. 17. Communicate with the customers to gather feedback and understand preferences, enhancing the dining experience. 18. Assist in coordinating catering services, creating customized menus for events featuring Korean cuisine.
